Ouray Net
- We at OurayNet started using PLD about three years ago, and shortly realized we could use a local mirror of the entire distro. We are currently mirroring the entire PLD tree in a number of different architectures. The mirror is located at:
- Duck is my primary webserver machine - the central point for everything else I do. It's mounted in a 2U chassis in the rack at OurayNet. I built it in August of 2001. Since this was my first real server I ran it for a couple of months in test mode. Durring this time I got hacked four or five times and rebuilt it about ten. It ran a couple versions of RedHat (7.0-7.2) durring this time. I settled on a highly customized install of RedHat 7.2 which ran for about a year before I got sick of the neverending RPM goose-chase. By this time I had switched to useing PLD for everything and had my own mirror of the distro. When I made the switch to PLD on this machine I also switched from postfix to exim, from mysql 3 to 4, and lots of other goodies.

- We got the DS3 circuit to OurayNet working properly this evening. Full ISO's take about 25 minutes.
